Our first invitational meet is approaching! Our team will participate in the Summer Thunder meet on June 7-8 at Klein High School. You can find all of the exact details on the attachment, but basically the 10&Unders swim on Sunday afternoon starting at 1:00 (as well as 100 IM's and 100 Free's for all age groups) and the 11&Ups swim on Monday evening starting at 5:00. 

In order to swim at an invitational meet, you must earn a qualifying time. Those times are listed in the attachment as well. You may swim as many events as you qualify for, which means you can go and swim just one event or you can swim up to 6 individual events (free, back, breast, fly, 100 free, 100 IM). If you qualify for at least 3 events, you are allowed to sign up for all 6 events if you would like. Each individual event will cost $5, and you will be invoiced once our registrations are submitted. We will also try to build some relays, and the team will pay those fees. 

You will enter this meet just like you do all others, by choosing the "Meet Entries" icon for the Summer Thunder meet. You will be only able to select the events your swimmer has qualified for, unless you meet the 3 event rule as stated above. 

The deadline to sign up for the meet is this Sunday, May 31 at 9:00am! This will give us a chance to be sure all of the times from the meet this Saturday are entered (so, yes, you can still qualify this week!) and yet still get our entries turned in by the deadline.

This may be new for some of you, so if you have any questions, ask a board member, coach, or a parent who just seems like they know what's up!
