The End of a Great Season

Way to go, LOE Dolphins! We are the Division West 2 Champs for the second year in a row! Every race counted, and it was a super close meet, as you can see below:

Now it is time to celebrate! We hope you can join us at our End of Season Banquet on Monday, June 29 from 6:00-9:00. Our party will be at the Lakes on Eldridge Pool, so bring your swim suit if you want to hop in! Our dinner will be catered by Copperfield Carrabba’s, a great sponsor of the LOE Swim Team. We will also have music, trophies, medals, and a slide show to wrap up the season. Family fun for all! If you cannot attend the banquet, you can ask a friend to pick up your trophies and other items. Otherwise, contact me (Sarah at [email protected]) and we can arrange a time for you pick them up.

To register for the banquet, go to the Products section of our website. Select the correct number of child and adult registrations and complete the purchases using PayPal. Unfortunately, the website will charge a credit card processing fee that we cannot turn off, so we have adjusted the price a bit to allow the team to cover the difference. Be sure to register your family by Saturday, June 27 so we can have an accurate count for Keith and the Carrabba’s crew.

We will also elect the new LOE board for the 2016 swim season. Remember, if you are interested in joining the board, or have a nomination for someone you think would be great, please contact Mary at [email protected]. The perks for being on the board go on and on, but a few of the benefits are a fancy blue collared shirt to wear to the meets and occasional parking passes at meets! Wow, right?  (Plus, a little say in how the team is run…)

We are planning on hosting our Fall Swim conditioning program once again this fall, although we have some details to iron out yet. If you are interested, check back on the website toward the end of July.
