Good Morning!

This summer, our team will compete in 3 NWAL-sponsored invitational meets.  Invitational meets are optional because swimmers must meet specific time standards to participate.  These “minimum qualifying times” varying for each meet.  The entry fee for invitational meets is typically $5 per individual event.  The team will cover the cost of relays.

Summer Thunder is a mid-season meet that will be held June 5-6 at Klein High School.  This invitational is a little different because all swimmers 13 years and older are invited to attend regardless of seed times.  However, swimmers 12 years and younger must achieve minimum qualifying times to participate.  The deadline to sign up for this meet is this Sunday, May 29 at 8:00 am.  We cannot accept late entries.  The qualifying times are on our site.  You will sign up for this meet same as you have all the other meets. 

Trinity Classic and Ponderosa are end of the season meets.  Trinity Classic will be held June 25-26 at Conroe ISD Natatorium.  For those of you that have competed at this meet and are familiar with the facility, please note that the football stadium that was previously used for team seating is under construction.  Therefore, team seating and the ready benches will be moved this year and parking will be limited to only one lot.  To accommodate for these changes, time standards for this year’s meet have been tightened to limit the number of swimmers.  Qualifying times are on our web site.  Ponderosa will also be held June 25-26.  Qualifying times for this meet are on our website as well. This meet is typically held at Klein Oak High School Natatorium.  We will get meet information to you once it is released by NWAL.  The deadline to sign up for both of these meets is June 17th.  You will sign up for these meets same as you have all the other meets.
