Code of Conduct Reminder

Good Morning,

We are looking forward to our 1st home meet of the season.  It should be a great day, and hopefully it will not be as long as the meet last weekend!!

The LOEST Board would like to take a quick minute to discuss the type of behavior that is expected of our swimmers - whether at a home meet or an away meet.  When we all registered our children for this swim season, we agreed to the NWAL Code of Conduct.  Numbers 7 and 8 are two very important rules. For your reference, they are copied below.  We, as a board, ask that if you see any behavior that is not acceptable to: (1) please ask the child to stop whatever he/she is doing, then (2) reach out to the tent parent to inform them of the issue.  If you have any questions regarding behavior, please feel free to reach out to Kara Irvine or Mary Granato.

 7. I will teach my child to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence. 8. I will demand that my child treat other players, coaches, officials and spectators with respect regardless of race, creed, color, sex or ability.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.  We want our swim season to be fun and safe.

Thank you and see you at the pool,

LOEST Board
