This summer, our team will compete in 3 NWAL-sponsored invitational meets.  Invitational meets are optional because swimmers must meet specific time standards to participate.  These “minimum qualifying times” vary for each meet.  The entry fee for invitational meets is $5 per individual event.  The team will cover the cost of relays. The coaches will form the relays once they know which swimmers will be participating.

Summer Thunder is a mid-season meet that will be held June 4-5 at Klein High School.  This invitational is a little different because all swimmers 13 years and older are invited to attend regardless of seed times.  However, swimmers 12 years and younger must achieve minimum qualifying times to participate. The deadline to sign up for this meet is this Sunday, May 28 at 8:00 am.  We cannot accept late entries.  The qualifying times are on our site.  You will sign up for this meet the same way as you have all the other meets. You will only be able to sign up for the events your child has qualified for. There is not a limit on the number of individual events for this meet.Some swimmers will qualify for up to 6 individual events. Additionally, if your swimmer qualifies for 3 events, you can add the other events as "bonus" events. These events will show up in red, but they will have a little "b" next to them once selected, to show they are bonus events. (11-12 100 Free, 10&U 50 Free, and the 100 I.M. cannot be bonus events)

Our end of the season meets will be on June 24-25.  Trinity Classic will be held at Conroe ISD Natatorium, and Ponderosa  is held at Klein Oak High School Natatorium.  Please check our website for the most up-to-date information about these meets. The deadline to sign up for both of these meets is June 18th.  You will sign up for these meets same as you have all the other meets. 

Invitational meets are a big accomplishment, and our swimmers often earn personal bests in these "fast" high school pools. We encourage you to participate if you qualify!
