Dear LOEST Swim families,

As you all know, we will have our divisional on Sunday June 15. Having a Divisional meet on Sunday complicates slightly our protocol to enter our swimmers in the end of season invitational meets (Red White and Blue and Ponderosa).

The entries for these invitationals are generally open on Sunday at 12:00pm, and we will not be able to do that because our meet will still be ongoing. As of now, you can sign up your swimmers who have already made the competition, but that would not cover kids making a time during the Divisional meet. To get everybody in, we will proceed as follows :

• For both meets, please declare your swimmers as attending event if they do not have a qualifying time. This way, we know to look for them if they qualify during the Divisional.
• Red White and Blue :
• We will close the entries at 3pm on Saturday June 14. That will allow us to submit our 1^st batch of entries by 5pm that day. Please try your best to commit to that day and time to make the process as simple as possible.
• If your swimmers want to participate in events they do not qualify for, please add a note when you declare your swimmer as attending with the event(s) they would like to participate in.
• We will compile all these notes, and on Sunday, after the Divisional, we will enter all the swimmers who qualified during the Divisional and re-submit our entry documents to get all our swimmers wanting to participate and having qualifying times in the meet.
• Ponderosa :
• Since there is no entry limit for Ponderosa, we will submit our entry documents after the Divisional meet.
• We encourage all swimmers who qualify to participate in this event and compete against the best swimmers in the league. It is a fun experience.
• As a reminder, swimmers with Ponderosa qualifying times cannot swim the event(s) they qualify for at RWB.

If anybody misses the Saturday 3pm deadline for entries, please let us know as soon as you can on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, so we have a chance to enter your swimmers. We will need to submit all documents shortly after the Divisional meet and our chances to get additional kids in after Sunday afternoon might be limited this year since there are only 2 Invitationals instead of 3 the previous years.
