Here is what I found regarding the issue of not getting text notifications from Remind.  Sounds like they may have recently made changes.

On Remind, being unassociated with a verified K-12 educational institution in the United States can cause a user to not receive text messages. Remind's ability to send SMS texts through their Remind Chat feature is contingent on the user being a verified member of a verified K-12 school or district.This is due to conditions set by phone carriers, making it impossible to offer text notifications to users not part of a K-12 system.

Alternatives for Non-Affiliated Users:

• Remind still allows users to use the Remind Chat platform to send messages, but recommends that users enable email and/or app notifications for communication.

Just wanted to make you aware. As stated before, swim team info will also be posted on our SwimTopia webpage under “News Post” & email as well as our Facebook page.

Also, there are quite a few swimmers that are still needing to sign up for this Saturday’s home meet.  If your swimmer isn’t swimming please indicate that by selecting the “Not Attending” option.
