Good evening Dolphins!
It’s amazing how time flies, here we are at our final meet of the season -- the Divisional Meet this Saturday, June 15, 2024!
Meet Location: Klein High School -- 16715 Stuebner Airline Rd Klein, TX 77379. Klein High School Natatorium entrance located off Lyons School Rd. Park in the student parking area directly across from the Natatorium, off Lyons School Rd.
Swimmer and Volunteer Check-In: 6:45- 7:00 a.m. (Swimmers must be checked-in by 7:00 a.m.) *Please be on time! Coaches and Board Members will be involved in pre-meet meetings and activities and will have limited access to their cell phones during this time.
Team Setup: Team setup will be in the cafeteria. Please bring chairs for you and your swimmer(s). We will be setting up swimmer age groups with staffed tent parent volunteers in our area. We must maintain a walkway in our team zone so please follow the blue tape on the floors to mark walkways. Be sure to bring extra towels as we will be indoors, and wet towels will take longer to dry. Also, make sure your swimmer has warm clothes to wear in between events.
Ready Benches: There will be a DJ announcing the events that need to be at the ready bench. Ready benches will be located in the hallway immediately outside the entry to the pool. Parents will send swimmers to the Ready Bench but will not have access to the Ready Bench area.
Rules for Spectators: Please do not “camp-out” in the viewing area, instead watch your swimmer’s race and then leave, allowing other parents to view their swimmer’s race. This will be closely monitored and anyone not abiding by this rule will be asked one time to exit the viewing area. If the same individual/family is asked a second time they will be asked to leave the pool area and not allowed to return to the viewing area for the rest of the meet.
Concessions: No onsite concessions will be provided. There are multiple food options located near Klein High School for purchase or delivery. This is going to be our longest meet of the season so please plan accordingly.
LOE Dolphins Warm Up: 7:45-8:10 a.m., lanes 6-8 and WU Pool. It is imperative that everyone warm up, especially to test goggles since the diving blocks may be higher than our swimmers are used to.
Volunteer Shifts: Our team has volunteer positions assigned by our NWAL Division that must be filled for our team to participate. The shifts for Divisionals are broken down into three shifts. The 1st shift is Events 1-30, 2nd Shift Events 31- 56, and 3rd Shift is Events 57-86.
