Good evening LOEST fam!

Although we had a few hiccups along the way, today was a great day for time trials! The smiles on the swimmers faces said it all, they were happy to get back at it. And many thanks to all the volunteers who stepped up, as you normally do, and made time trials run as smoothly as possible. It truly takes a village.

Just a few things I’d like to mention so we continue to run meets with a minimal amount of issues.

🐬No one can spectate behind the starter blocks or be inside the roped off areas, especially with our younger swimmers. I know as a parent we want to be there for our children, but please know we have our Ready Bench volunteers there to make sure the swimmers know where to go.

🐬No photography nor video recording behind the starter blocks.

🐬Moving forward, in an effort to run meets as efficiently as possible, there will be no additions to meets after the deadline. The delays this morning were due to adding last minute swimmers. At dual meets, this will not be permitted, no exceptions will be made.

🐬The deadline for athletes to be signed up for Saturday meets is 9 p.m. on Tuesdays.

🐬Those swimmers who didn’t attend time trials today, sending your times in to Coach Amanda by tomorrow evening, Sunday, would be ideal. Given that she needs to manually enter the times, the process takes longer. Send times to: [email protected]. If you have any issues please contact Coach Amanda.
