This summer, our team will compete in 3 NWAL-sponsored invitational meets. Invitational meets are optional because swimmers must meet specific time standards to participate.  These “minimum qualifying times” vary for each meet.  The entry fee for the mid-season invitational meet is $7 per individual event.  The team will cover the cost of relays.  The coaches will form the relays once they know which swimmers will be participating.

***We are still trying to figure out how to charge families for the mid-season invitational meet entries.  We will send out more info once we figure out the new payment system.***

DEADLINE…SIGN UP BY THIS SATURDAY AT MIDNIGHT!
Sprint Sizzler is our mid-season invitational meet that will be held Sunday, June 4^th & Monday, June 5th at CFISD Natatorium.  This invitational is a little different because all swimmers 13 years and older are invited to attend regardless of seed times.  However, swimmers 12 years and younger must achieve minimum qualifying times to participate.  The deadline to sign up for this meet is this Saturday, May 27th, at midnight.  We cannot accept late entries.  The qualifying times and more details are on our website attached under the Sprint Sizzler Event.  You will sign up for this meet the same way as you have all the other meets.  You will only be able to sign up for the events your swimmer has qualified for.  There is not a limit on the number of individual events for this meet.  Some swimmers will qualify for up to 6 individual events.  Additionally, if your swimmer qualifies for 3 events, you can add other events as "bonus" events.

We will also participate in two end-of-season invitational meets. We will have the option of Ponderosa (June 24-25), the most elite of invitational meets. This meet has very fast qualifying times.  We will also have another option with more attainable times called Red, White, and Blue, held June 23-25.  You will sign up for these meets on our website, the same as you do for all the other meets.

Invitational meets are a big accomplishment, and our swimmers often earn personal bests in these "fast" high school pools.  We encourage swimmers to participate if they qualify!
