This summer, our team will compete in three NWAL-sponsored invitational meets. Invitational meets are optional because swimmers must meet specific time standards to participate. These “minimum qualifying times” vary for each meet. The entry fee for invitational meets ranges from $7-$10 per individual event. The team will cover the cost of relays. The coaches will form the relays once they know which swimmers will be participating.

***You will pay for your individual events when you sign up on our website. Just sign up for your events, then head over to the Team Store section of our website. Select the “Summer Heat Invitational- Individual Entry” item. The quantity will be the number of individual events you have selected for your swimmer(s). Please select the correct quantity, then pay the $7-$10 entry fee per event.***

COMING SOON…SIGN UP BY THIS SATURDAY AT 6:00pm!  Summer Heat is a mid-season meet that will be held June 5 at Atascocita High School. This invitational is a little different because all swimmers 13 years and older are invited to attend regardless of seed times. However, swimmers 12 years and younger must achieve minimum qualifying times to participate. The deadline to sign up for this meet is this Saturday, May 28 at 6:00 pm. We cannot accept late entries. The qualifying times are in the attached information flyer. You will sign up for this meet the same way as you have all the other meets. You will only be allowed & able to sign up for the events your child has qualified for. There is not a limit on the number of individual events for this meet. Some swimmers will qualify for up to 6 individual events. Additionally, if your swimmer qualifies for 3 events, you can add the other events as "bonus" events. These events will show up in red, but they will have a little "b" next to them once selected, to show they are bonus events.

We will also participate in some end of season invitational meets. We will definitely have the option of Ponderosa (June 25-27), the most elite of invitational meets. This meet has very fast qualifying times! We will also have another option with more attainable times, the Red, White and Blue. You will sign up for these meets on our website, the same as you have all the other meets.

Invitational meets are a big accomplishment, and our swimmers often earn personal bests in these "fast" high school pools. We encourage swimmers to participate if they qualify!
